2024 Reflections and Highlights

As we close out 2024, we have developed a snapshot of some of our key highlights from year at Careers in Colour.

  • The Australian Human Rights Commission launched a new National Anti-Racism Framework with 63 recommendations for a whole of society approach to eliminating racism, with proposed reforms across Australia’s legal, justice, health, education, media and arts sectors as well as workplaces and data collection.

  • Since the release of the Australian Public Service (APS)’s Cultural and Linguistic Diversity strategy in April this year, the inclusion of culturally and linguistically diverse Australians in the senior executive has become an increasingly important area of attention for APS reform.
