Careers in Colour #13: Our next event!
Info on our next event in Sydney and other events that may be of interest
We’ve partnered with MindTribes to host our next in-person event on 25 February in Sydney. Our event ‘Effective ERGs: Advocating for racial diversity in shifting times’ will explore what makes Employee Resource / Action Groups (ERGs/EAGs) effective, and practical ways to progress racial diversity in the workplace.
This event will explore:
Best practices and evidence-based strategies to effectively equip DEI advocates—especially ERG leaders—to become effective change agents.
Common misconceptions about DEI and how to shape compelling narratives that demonstrate the value ERGs bring to organisations.
Ways to build resilience and support those leading and participating in ERGs.
The event is for everyone, especially for those involved in ERGs for cultural diversity.
Hosted at Canva in Sydney, this panel will feature senior leaders in Australia, ERG leaders, and advocates for racial and cultural inclusion, who will speak to their successes and challenges. The event will officially kick off at 6:15pm, with networking and light refreshments available from 5:30pm.
As part of this event, we’ll be launching a special report on ‘Creating Effective Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)’, offering useful insights based on a decade of MindTribes’ practitioner expertise, CiC’s practical experience, stakeholder interviews and desktop research conducted by the University of Melbourne.
