volunteer with us

Join our team and make an impact. Applications are now open and close on 27 February 2026.

Why JOIN?

Careers in Colour (CiC) was founded in late 2021 to address the persistent under-representation of people of colour in Australia’s senior leadership.

Since then, we’ve run community-building events across sectors to foster dialogue on racial, cultural, and ethnic diversity in workplaces and empower individuals to drive change within their own spheres.

As we move into our next phase, our team is growing and we are seeking volunteers to join our team this year to support the delivery of initiatives under our CiC Strategy 2026-28.

Location: Australia-wide remote role with a preference for Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne-based applicants.

These are volunteer opportunities. If you are motivated to contribute to a more equitable future of work, we would love to hear from you. Please review the role descriptions and submit your application via the form below.

Recruitment timeline: Interviews are expected to take place in early March 2026, with an aim to notify candidates by the end of March 2026.

We’re committed to an accessible and inclusive selection process. If you require any adjustments to support your application or interview, please let us know. This may include flexibility in interview times, additional time or sensory considerations.

We also recognise that Ramadan will take place in early March. For applicants observing Ramadan, we are very happy to schedule interviews at a time that works best for you, including in the evening after fasting hours.
